• Leading a comprehensive election-day coverage of polling places, watch parties and campaign headquarters in Providence on Nov. 4

• Wrote up to 5 stories a week and made routine cop checks
• Started with high school graduation stories and valedictorian profiles and quickly moved on to cover town council meetings and write centerpiece stories for the section’s front page
• Covered a murder trial in June, filing stories on deadline everyday for nearly 2 weeks
