----- from the public shoutbox ----- SinlessLinks: Warez68 Is no longer welcome here SinlessLinks: I have NO patience for people that do not respect those around them. SinlessLinks: And if you cuss me and my peers out, you're gone. SinlessLinks: A shame, because we value every poster we have, and treat them with the utmost respect. Ribbitz: the staff have an extra area where we can communicate and not be seen. while talking, warez68 opted to place blame on us (collectively) for a few things. this is not the first time he had pushed other staff members buttons and the final straw was when he decided to curse at Sinless Ribbitz: other staff / site partners have asked for his removal in the past due to other personal altercations with him, and the advising was finally put into motion with this turn of events. we wish him the best on any other site, but he will not be welcome here for his attitude deserter85: Well, sorry to hear about that... His contributions will be missed... But I'm hoping that this signals the return of whiterose on a more permanent basis. I've never seen anyone post so many things so quickly like he did when he was here. ------------------------------------ It's nice to know that at least Deserter appreciates what I did for the site...which was much more than just posting links. I was the one who started putting names on episodes...when a filename contradicted the number of the episode, I'd check to see which one was correct and fix the post. Sometimes the linksets were in the wrong order (part 4,3,2,1 for example), and I'd copy and paste the correct order. There are many other things like that which I did, while everyone else just posted things without checking. Sometimes there would be things I couldn't fix myself, so I would post an error report in the team shoutbox, but everyone would just ignore me because I was interrupting their jokefest. They spend 95% of the time in the team shoutbox making childish jokes about beer and evil monkeys and teasing each other about being gay etc. I never told them to stop, but I didn't usually join in, so that makes me no fun, so apparently I should be shunned when I'm behaving professionally. That made me an easy scapegoat for any problem that Ribbitz wanted an excuse for. It's easier than facing reality for him. When people asked in the public shoutbox what happened to me, I tried to reply, but my IP address was blocked, because they didn't want you to see my reply. Then Ribbitz came along and spewed his usual sophistry, as seen above. The only "altercations" before today, were with Ribbitz when he tried to force me to agree with him about some of his ridiculous beliefs about how people should behave towards him...and once with Whiterose when I pointed out his obvious attempt to get extra Rapidshare points by reducing his RAR file sizes just enough to result in a 350mb avi being in 5 parts instead of 4. Anyone who saw that "fight" knows that I only said (paraphrasing) "it gets you extra points" and then I stopped talking, but Whiterose starting hollering and swearing over and over for a while after I stopped talking, and then he deleted many links from the site (including many that weren't his). Ribbitz would like you to believe that Whiterose's reaction was somehow justified...I guess Ribbitz wants you to think that I harassed Whiterose many other times, or that I hollered at him...or if he admits that it was only that ONE time, I guess he wants you to think it was a long "attack" on Whiterose, instead of the quick "extra points" comment. But if Ribbitz can convince you of that, then he can easily vilify me, and you'll believe anything negative that he says about me...especially now that I've been silenced in the shoutbox...trial and execution without representation...sounds like a dictatorship to me. It's a typical Ribbitz ploy to twist reality to suit his needs...but everyone who saw that Whiterose argument knows the truth. As far as what happened at the end with Sinless, here is what really happened: I got sick of not being appreciated, having my work undermined, being ignored when I'm trying to help Sinless' site, and having my feelings dismissed rudely and repeatedly...so this last time when I was telling Sinless about a very big problem I was having in my attempts to be of more help to his site, instead of trying to make me feel better he called my feelings a "pity party". That was the last straw. So as most people would do when their feelings have been repeatedly hurt by the same people, I said "f**k you, I quit". But now of course, in typical Ribbitz fashion, he wants to pretend that I was fired instead of quitting. I was planning to leave soon anyway. Sinless just pushed me over the edge. It's MUCH more their loss than mine, despite Sinless' hilarious comments in the team shoutbox after I quit: "GO to another site. I DARE YOU. I do NOT run a dictatorship. You greedy little selfish arrogant *******. HOW DARE YOU. we've helped you SO much" (I couldn't reply to him because I was blocked before he said all that). The only thing I got out of this site at the beginning was feeling useful and appreciated, but they ignore my suggestions and get mad at my error reports, and they get uncomfortable when I want to talk about things that need to be done on the site. I'm glad to get away from these children. Recently Ribbitz told me that we are NOT a "team" or "peers" as they led us to believe, but we are subordinate employees who must blindly obey, and that we have no right to disagree with them about the way their uploading system works. As many people noticed, that system failed many times, and I had to upload a dozen shows myself those nights, to fix their screwup...so I had very good reasons to disagree with certain things about the system. But I was just an employee, so I had no right to voice my concerns. By the way, on those nights when their system was not uploading anything, visitors complained that we were far behind other sites, and I said to Ribbitz "they have a good reason to complain...we were very slow that time", and he said (direct quote from memory) "no they don't have a right! I don't see them helping us upload". That shows you how he views visitors...as an annoyance. He claims to want mutual "respect", but he really wants blind obedience. If you become their employee, but you don't want to commit your computer to being reprogrammed with Linux and dedicated to uploading their files, they holler at you for 10 pages, and then spend a few more pages trying to convince everyone that the employee was the reason for the 10 pages of arguing. I should've just stopped talking to him because he was so unreasonable, but he was attacking me publicly in the team shoutbox, and I was defending myself. But apparently these people don't give a damn about other people's feelings, so it was a waste of time trying to reason with him, or to try to show everyone that I did nothing wrong. I even tried writing to Ribbitz in private, by email, to resolve things without him making another ridiculous scene in the team shoutbox, but in the private email he behaved even worse, and practically demanded worship. That's why I can't help but laugh when Ribbitz and Sinless claim to want "mutual respect" and "equality", when they really want slaves. At least Ivan at rslinks doesn't PRETEND to be fair and decent while being a dictator. Everyone KNOWS he's a dictator. But Ribbitz seems to have the public fooled...they don't see how he talks in the team shoutbox or in emails. And apparently his attitude has rubbed off on Sinless. I'm SO glad I quit. And I hope anyone who wants to join their "team" won't get their hopes up by expecting equality, appreciation, consideration, or reasonableness. I did see those things in the actual TEAM members, but not in management. Power corrupts...absolutely. By the way, I'm cancelling my Rapidshare accounts, so if anyone wants my files, you better get them before the accounts close. Email me at wpwmc1@gmail.com to get a list of linksets. I have 2 accounts...one will close on Dec 9, the other will last at least until May. Members of the "team" can request the links too...you can reupload to your own accounts. I don't want your visitors to lose access to the episodes I did for you. warez68
